This Viking shield was made from a combination of woodwork, fiberglass and metalwork. As well as acrylic paint to colour and weather the shield.
The design was the product of research into Viking artwork and the materials and techniques available to Norse people. Specifically aimed at replicating a shield from the 6th Century.
